Reaction on blogging project

What did I like about it?

I think that I really like this project because I can communicate with my classmates and teachers easily and without paying any money ~~ haha. The other reason I like it is that I am so pleasure when I visit others bloggers because I see many different styles and views’ bloggers which are performed ~ so interesting.

What didn't I like?

Actually, I don’t like to give comments when I read others articles, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t like to read or visit others bloggers. I have no ideas why I don’t like it. Maybe I prefer to read.

What did I learn from participating in this project?

First of all, I learn what is blogger. Before when I was in Taiwan, so many my friends used bloggers, however I was not interested. Secondly I learn that some abbreviations from my classmates (Richard) ~haha, such as u=you, ur= your ans omg= oh my god ~~ = =”.

Did my writing improve?

I think that my writing improve so much. I remember I wrote something in my diary when I came here. I found that I even didn’t know how to use verb, non and adj and I only used some basic vocabularies. I also remember that my writing was so simple when I studied in elementary1.

Should marks be assigned to this project?

I think that this is a good idea to assign marks to this project because it is not only an excellent activity to communicate with each other but also it is not so difficult to do it and get 5% marks easily.

It is hard to maintain a relationship

Recently I really feel that it is hard to maintain a relationship. No matter the relationship with friends, family or (boy) girlfriend. Maybe this is life~~

Advertisement!!

Amazing Advertisement

It's true that we can see advertisements everywhere, such as on the streets, the side of the buses, buildings. If I didnt learn this unit I think that I still live in a city where full of advertisements without consciousness.

On the other hand, if we do not have those advertisements, maybe we will feel bored and I think that human beings always like to have something different from our life.

Maybe sometimes too many advertisements in our life, we will feel so sick of them. For example: when we use Internet, some advertisements will jump out and appear in your screen. It really let me feel bad now so when I see those advertisements, I will close it immediately.

What skill did I learn? How do I feel on Research project?

WA!! We finished the research project, a little bit hard to believe that I could write a paper in second language. First of all I think that I have to say thank you to Lili and Adrianne because both of them teach us all the skills.

What skill did I learn? How do I feel?

I am pretty sure that i learn a lot from this research project. Firstly, I learn how to find the sources and how to use the database in Concordia library. Secondly, I think that i really improve my English because i remembered that when i first time came here, i could not speak, read, write well and my listening was terrible. I could say that I could do nothing in English. However, now i can understand what Lili, Adrianne and classmates say, i can read many articles, also my writing and speaking really improve.

Moreover, I learn how to paraphrase from the other sentences and how to summarize the articles. I also learn how to attribute the sources. But I think that I still need to study hard and try to use it. Otherwise, I will lose it very quickly.

What did I learn not to do?

Finally I learn that we can not do our assignments and anything in the last mins. Even we can finish it at last mins but I think that the quality is not good. It is better to divide a big project to many small parts. It is easy for us to complete and we can do it well. I know that sometimes it is hard for me to finish each part on time, but I could say that I really try to do it. So, now I feel happy.

Research Project

Research Process

My research topic is logistic system. I will discuss that logistic system strategy using FedEx Express Corporation as an example. I divide this project into four parts.

First part is introduction and background. Second part is to define some specific knowledge which is used in this paper. Third part is main paragraph which will state the logistic system. Final part is conclusion and maybe a little bit my opinion

So far I have completed first and second parts. Actually I have changed my topic because when I started to write my first part, I recognized that topic of quality control is not I want. As LiLi said that we have to start writing and we can figure out some problems otherwise, we find nothing.

Hopefully, I want to accomplish third part before Monday. During this project I think that I learn some skills which are how to use the Concordia database and how to select articles and paraphrase.

When I was high school student, my young brother always uses the computer in our room. At that time, I was not interested in computer. After few months, I saw my brother play the game in computer, so I asked my brother let me play it. This was my first time to touch the computer.

One day our computer was broken. Therefore, my brother tried to fix it by himself. At that time, I thought that it is impossible to fix it. However, few weeks later, he fixed it. Suddenly, in my mind I felt that he was so cool and he just liked a computer engineer who could fix the computer. After this experience, I tried to bother and ask my brother anything about computer. I think that I was interested in computer.

We started to explore the computer and tried to understand any parts of the computer. I thought that I quite understood the hardware of computer. Moreover, after I studied at university, I learned more things about computer because we usually uses computer for assignments. I learned more things in software of computer.

Therefore, now I feel that I am a small computer expert and I think that I can not live without having a computer. I feel computer is so useful and helpful in our life.

Improving Acadamic Performance

WA~~ I got 4 out of 4 score in first page... but i don't think that i study in a efficient method. Maybe i know the principles of studying but i did not use all of principles. I think that maybe many people have the same problems as me, so this is a good opportunity for use to realize ourselves more.

I think that this is a useful and helpful article for us. I totally agree the strategies that the article has mentioned. First the idea of developing of studying habits is really important. When we follow this principle i think that in the beginning we should force us to study. Maybe after several months, you will feel strange because today you do not study. It means that studying becomes one parts of our life.

Secondly, if we keep this habit, i think our memory will improve and we can concentrate on doing everything easily. Studies show that repeatedly reviewing info. usually leads to improved retention. If we study everyday, we may learn the same vocabularies or sentences in different books. Therefore, those vocabularies or sentences may be memorized by repeatedly reviewing.

Lecture of Communication

Hello everyone:

Everyone may have different expressions in the language which may be affected by cultures or backgrounds. Before I listen to the lecture in this morning, I thought that I quite knew the differences between male and female. However, I am wrong because I still have a lot of things which I do not realize. For example, 25-year-old females, they are supporting each other. I was a little surprised because in my cause I saw a lot of my female friends of university, they did not support each other. In our class there were only 8 females, but they could separated into three groups.. and each of groups did not talk to other groups. So I was surprised.

Finally, I am going to talk a little bit my reflection of this lecture. I think that the conclusion was very nice. "We can not say that all the male and female speak like the same patterns"(Scott). It means that in different situations men and women could change their pattern of communication. However, I felt that Scott used too much examples of conversation. Maybe I am not interested in the conversations.

Happiness is an emotion or affective state that is characterized by feelings of enjoyment and satisfaction. You can find Happiness in many places. For example: when people fall in love, no assignments.. haha, go to travel, have a good relationship with family, get the goooood score..so on.
I hope that i can enjoy this new topic and no more medical topic
